The assembly (in red) in this photo is similar to the kit you will receive should you decide to purchase. The bottom bell brace will be soldered into your bell flange and socket although the flange may need to be moved slightly up or down the bell flare for the kit to fit properly. The top bell brace will have a socket and flange to attach to your bell/tuning slide ferrule. The tuning slide in the kit will fit your tuning slide. Once the braces are attached to your bell your horn will be ready to play.

You can convert a one valve bass trombone into a two valve bass trombone by selecting the 50B two independent valve option.

*On some models, especially those without a valve, the bell flange and socket may need to be moved upward or downward to meet the bottom bell brace of the valve section.

**Regardless of the number of valves on your 50B both the 50B(1v) and 50B(2v) will attach to your horn.
