Integrated steel mills run continuous, brutal processes — basic oxygen furnaces blowing 99% pure oxygen at supersonic velocities, pickle lines flushing with hot HCl and H₂SO₄, mill stands rolling hot steel under floods of cooling water laden with mill scale. Oxygen Injection
